Ablekuma North, Accra – Wednesday, 5th August, 2026
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ablekuma North, Hon. Musa Kalamu Adamu, together with the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Constituency, Hon. Ewurabena Aubynn, today presented cash, food items and other donations to the Chiefs and Traditional Leaders of the Ablekuma North Municipality at the forecourt of the Assembly.
The presentation forms part of the Assembly’s annual support towards the celebration of the Homowo Festival.
In his address, Hon. Musa Kalamu Adamu stated that the donation is an annual gesture by the Assembly to deepen collaboration with traditional authorities. He prayed for guidance, protection and unity for the Municipality and reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to working closely with Niimei and Naamei to accelerate development.
On her part, Hon. Ewurabena Aubynn described traditional leaders as father and mother figures in the community, noting that it is essential to support them during such significant cultural occasions as part of their contribution towards the Homowo festivities. She also urged residents to be extra cautious and vigilant during the festivities to avoid mishaps.
