The Ablekuma North Municipal Assembly today, 26th February 2026, organized Phase Two of the Sod-Cutting Ceremony for key development projects across selected communities within the Municipality.
The projects include the:
Construction of five (5) Limited Mechanised Boreholes in the Darkuman East, Kwashieman, Tweneboah, Odorkor, and Otaten Electoral Areas,
Construction of a six (6)-unit classroom block with ancillary facilities at McClean Basic School, and
Construction of a poultry farm (Nkoko Nkitinkiti Project) at Wesley Grammar Senior High School.
The ceremony brought together key stakeholders, including the Municipal Chief Executive, Municipal Coordinating Director, management staff of the Assembly, Assembly Members, as well as chiefs and residents of the Kwashieman, Odorkor, and Akwei Bu Electoral Areas.
In his address, the Municipal Chief Executive emphasized the importance of local employment, urging contractors to prioritize engaging community youth to provide them with employment opportunities and sustainable sources of income.
These projects underscore the Assembly’s continued commitment to improving access to potable water, quality education, food security, and youth empowerment within Ablekuma North.
