The Ablekuma North Municipal Assembly demonstrated strong community spirit by actively observing National Sanitation Day, with focused attention on the Awoshie–Pokuase Road.
Assembly staff, led by the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Musah Adamu Kalamu, joined forces with Zoomlion personnel, committed community volunteers, members of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), and security services to undertake a massive clean-up exercise. The activity involved clearing indiscriminate dump sites, desilting choked gutters, and sweeping road shoulders to improve drainage and enhance overall environmental hygiene.
This exercise went beyond routine cleaning—it was a critical public health intervention aimed at preventing flooding, eliminating disease vectors, and restoring the community's beauty.
The Assembly commends all residents and stakeholders who participated and contributed to the success of the exercise. A cleaner Ablekuma North begins with each of us.
