On Tuesday, 17th June 2025, a delegation from the Koowa Naso football club presented a trophy to the MCE and people of Ablekuma North Municipality. The team came first in a tournament organized by Thomas Teye Partey, a Ghanaian Professional Footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for the English Premier League Club Arsenal.
The MCE congratulated them and also urged them to give in more and do more, and advised them to take their training seriously, and also promised to expedite the process for acquiring an astroturf in the municipality.
The Hon MCE made a donation of 5,000 GHC for the team's progress
