On June 16, 2025, the Municipal Chief Executive (M.C.E) for Ablekuma North Municipal Assembly, Hon.
Adamu Musah Kalamu paid a courtesy call on the traditional Leaders in the municipality as a formal introduction.
The Municipal Coordinating Director, Hon Assembly Members, Government appointees, and some Officials of the Municipal Assembly accompanied him.
He toured palaces such as Darkuman Palace, North Odorkor Palace, Odorkor Official Town Palace, Awoshie Lafa Palace, Kwashieman Palace, Tsuimamli Palace, and Otaten Palace. In all the Palaces he visited, the entourage was warmly welcomed with a litany of advice offered to the M.C.E and blessings bestowed on him as customs and traditional prayérs were beautifully performed.
Hon. Kalamu delivered touching messages in all the palaces visited. According to him, he could not do the Assembly work alone; hence, the involvement of traditional leaders, Chiefs, and Queen-Mothers in decision-making was paramount.
He promised to foster unity among them, as he had the intention of forming the Ablekuma North Traditional Leaders Association, and also to visit them periodically
