Wesley Grammar Senior High now has access to ultra modern washrooms through  a partnership between the National Lottery Authority (NLA) and Hon. Sheila Bartels, the member of parliament for the Ablekuma North Constituency.

She stated that because of the school's recent student population growth, she noticed that the restroom facility used to be one of the main institutional issues.

During their recent meeting with the school authorities, the Headmistress outlined some of the challenges the institution is facing and appealed to the government to come to their aid since the student population keeps growing and their facilities are not enough to accommodate them all. Hon. Sheila Bartels in a media interview emphasized this.

She went on to say that the facility is intended to support and improve teaching and learning in the school.

The National Lottery Authority (NLA) has established four main pillars: Youth and Sports Development, Health, Education, and Art and Culture. David Nkansah Ato (DNA), the PR officer for the NLA, said that the organization hopes to build approximately seventeen (17) ultra-modern restroom facilities with mechanized boreholes across the nation. He also urged Ghanaians to be extremely cautious when dealing with scammers on social media.

Additionally, Mrs. Barbera Takyiwaa Thompson, the Headmistress of Wesley Grammar School, recounts some of the difficulties and appeals made by the National Lottery Authority and the MP, and expresses her sincere gratitude for their effort.
