STAFF DURBAR FOR ABLEKUMA NORTH MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY SECOND QUARTER 2024.

On Friday, the 5 th of April 2024, the Ablekuma North Municipal Assembly held its staff durbar for the second quarter of the year, at the forecourt of the Assembly. The program commenced with an opening prayer from Alhaji Sidi Alis. The Coordinating Director, Mrs. Vera Akuffo-Mantey then took over by giving the welcome remarks and also conducted a roll call. The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Kofi Ofori gave a brief address before handing the microphone over to Madam Cynthia Nunoo to introduce the newly posted staff in the municipality. Some of these personnels were Ernest Tuffour, Daniel Quao Bosolo Akwada, Mr. Selorm Attipoe, Godfred Saim Junior, Esther Tannoh, Vivian Lankono, Mercy Appiah Korankye . The Municipal Chief Director then gave a presentation on the local government protocols (code of conduct). Some of the points she made reference to were; there should be client orientation and loyalty to service, transparency and accountability, diligence, discipline and timeliness among others. After her delivery, the Municipal Chief Executive threw more light on some vital points he deemed appropriate to be addressed. The Social Welfare and Community Development officer, madam Selina Afedi also gave a presentation on child protection. Hon. Kofi Ofori emphasized on reasons why the gates of the Assembly is being locked from 1:30pm- 5:00pm. Reason being that some workers tend to leave office before time and do not return which affectsthe effectiveness of the work being done at the Assembly. After the Municipal Chief Executive spoke, the Municipal Coordinating Director rendered the data monitorization of the arrival and departure of staff with the aid of the clock-in machine. The People United Reaching Everyone (PURE) briefed management and staff on health related issues and advised that anyone with any chronic disease should check in with them after the program for a free health screening at the Assembly. An agent from Prudential Life Insurance gave an orientation on some policies they offer their customers like their retirement plan policies and life emergency policies. The Assembly was given an open forum to ask questions and give their suggestions on both discussed topics and issues faced by the staff of the Assembly. The closing prayer was then said by Mr. Ishmael Tettey Abbey.
