The Ablekuma North Municipal Assembly Chief Executive Hon. Kofi Ofori has held a durbar for market women and businessmen at the Mallam Market and Odorkor market.

The durbar was geared towards sensitizing them on fire and its consequences when not handled properly.

The gathering saw other officials of the Assembly, key Hon. Assembly members, the Municipal Coordinating Director among others.

Addressing them, Hon. Ofori advised that, they should ensure fire after usage is quenched after close of work in order to avoid spreading further.

"Fires can be devastating and cause significant damage to property and human life." He said At the Odorkor market, he urged them to inculcate fire safety like the use of fire extinguisher which is even less expensive.
